TKD NORTH ENERGY GENERATION

With Kolin Construction’s fifty percent partnership, TKD North Energy Generation Inc., Co. comprises of Torul Dam and HPP on Harşit River in Gümüşhane, Kürtün Dam and HPP and Doğankent HPP. As a conclusion of the tender by the Privatization Administration for the privatization of estates utilized by Torul-Kürtün and Doğankent Hydroelectrical Power Plants owned by Electricity Generation Company through the “Transfer of Operational Rights”, they have been transferred to TKD North Energy Generation Inc., Co on 29th April 2016 to be operated for 49 years.

The installed capacity of Torul Dam and HPP is 105,6 MW while the installed capacity of Kürtün Dam and HPP is 85 MW. The installed capacity of the Doğankent Regulator and HPP is 74,5 MW.
